An organization within the public sector is preparing to replace an older remote access solution with a modern, long-term sustainable, and supported solution. The goal is to introduce Always On VPN as the new standard for secure client remote access while simultaneously building a solution that internal IT can maintain and further develop over time.

You will join an assignment where you take overall responsibility for planning, technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and documentation. The work is carried out in close collaboration with internal IT, which contributes with business knowledge and support, while you drive the technical implementation forward. This is a role for you who want to combine deep technical competence with real impact in a complex environment where stability, security, and manageability are crucial.

• You review the existing environment, technical prerequisites, and dependencies related to remote access and security solutions.
• You create the technical design for Always On VPN based on needs analysis, security requirements, and chosen tunnel strategy.
• You build the necessary components and configure Always On VPN according to the decided design.
• You perform functional tests and verify the stability and availability of the solution.
• You support the production rollout and deployment to clients.
• You produce technical documentation as well as documentation adapted for operations and maintenance.
• You drive knowledge transfer and handover to internal IT so that the solution can be maintained further after the work is completed.

• Documented experience in leading and bearing primary responsibility for the design and implementation of Always On VPN in an Enterprise environment.
• At least three (3) years of documented experience with components required for an Always On VPN implementation in an Enterprise environment, such as Windows 11, PKI, RRAS/NPS, Active Directory, and Intune.
• Strong networking and troubleshooting skills.
• You handle Swedish and English fluently in both speech and writing.
